April Favourites and May trials.

Smiles all round at the moment, I may have two three-thousand word essays to write and an exam to prepare for BUT its sunny outside so I can't help but smile! I have three beauty favourites this month and a number of new products that I am looking forward to trying throughout May.

I have really enjoyed being myself recently and evolving my style in terms of make-up and clothing but also just making sure that I am doing that which makes me happy, I am looking forward to moving back to Devon at the beginning of June for the summer. This new weather has certainly brightened my sunny outlook on life. I have a favourite dress for May that I will hopefully get to wear in the sunny weather at some point, along with a new found love for animal print clothing.
I have new favourite singer at the moment who I have on repeat, and he is definitely an April/May favourite. He is called Lewis Mokler and I have been loving the songs Pieces and Nutella, so go and check him out.

So lets roll out the April favourites.

Number one...
Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick Compact.
This is a gorgeous summer bronzer/highlighter that is beautiful on the outside and the inside. I works perfectly as an everyday bronzer for the edge of the face but also contours well. I love the simmer in this as it is not too much and the colour is also bright. I have the is the colour Bronze, I would recommend that you get matched for this product because there is nothing like being either wotsit orange or mud brown, but this complements my skin tone really well. And as if this product couldn't get any better you can also use it as an eyeshadow to create a bronze smokey eye, which is great if you don't want to lug your bronze eyeshadow palette around, as you can just take this. Again as it is a Bobbi Brown product it is relatively pricey, so maybe just look out for a John Lewis 10% off day.

Number two...
Yu.Be Moisturizing Skin Cream.
This product has been a life saver so many times since I purchased it at the end of January but in April I found more reasons to be in love with it. I originally purchased this cream for my dry skin under my ring on my finger, it worked miracles over night. My skin had been so dry that it sometimes bled, but this fixed that in a few nights. I applied it to my hands every night in the cold weather but I now alternate as my hands are less dry. This cream is very dense and just for problem areas... but pretty much all problem areas such as; Sunburn, cracked heals, chapped lips, split cuticles and dry skin. I honestly cannot recommend this product enough, a small amount goes along way and it works wonders.

Number three...
Gelly Hi-Shine Nail Paint by Barry M.
Let me start off by saying I hate Barry M nail polishes, they just don't work for me. I always found that I could find the colour in another brand so therefore would just stay away but then the Gelly nail polishes were recommend to me and I had to try. And these are AMAZING! They are so highly pigmented that they only need one layer (although I still ways do two). They have a really high shine on them, and they just look gorgeous.

On to my May trials.

Number one...
Bioderma Micelle Solution.
You cannot even imagine how excited I am about this product. I have wanted to try this for about a year but it was only available in France, I just started to think about ordering online when I found out they were about to start selling it in the UK. And on Friday I was walking past a chemists and I saw it in the window. I have used this product three times now and so far it is living up to the hype. By far the best make-up remover/facial cleanser I have ever used. But we will see how May goes.

Number two...
Mac Extended Play Gigablack Lash mascara.
I saw this when I was in Mac a few weeks ago and just purchased it this weekend and so far I am loving it. It has a small comb similar to that of Clinique Bottom lash mascara. It applies really well and creates separated but volumised lashes with amazing coverage.

Number three...
Revlon Baby Stick.
I brought this cheek and lip tint in the colour Tahitian. I saw this product in boots and I have been loving cream blushes at the moment so I hope this is a good light pink for just adding a small amount of colour.

Go and check out some of these products and tell me your reviews and if you love them as much as me.  Enjoy the beautiful weather and smile because you will feel a change in yourself with a brighter outlook but you also might make someones day.
